I know that my usual blog posts are always highlighting either Carter, Grady, and sometimes Jason. Well, today I am being a little selfish and highlighting myself!!
I got a job!!! YAY! I am working for Connections Academy. It's name in PA is Commonwealth Connections Academy. It's a tuition free online public school. Right now, I am contracted to develop curriculum for 3rd grade social studies in GEORGIA!! I am getting the best of both worlds. I am living in Pennsylvania, but writing curriculum for Georgia. Apparently GA is one of four states that just joined on with Connections Academy. My job is to develop a whole social studies content map for 3rd grade. This map will consist of 5 units and about 5-7 lessons in each unit. The best part of the job is that I am working from home.
Even though I will be working from home, this adds much stress to my already stressed out life. Carter's nap time is when I get things done around the house such as cleaning, prepping for dinner, laundry, working out, and JUST RELAXING! Not anymore. Most of my work will have to get done during nap time. Hmm, when will everything else get done? I'll get back to you once I figure it all out! If anyone wants to come and clean my house once a week for free, please let me know. The door is ALWAYS open!!
Once I am finished with this particular project, I may have the option of continuing to develop units. It will just depend on how well I do and if they like me. Finger's crossed, for this is just the perfect job for me during this crazy period of our lives.

That's fantastic news! I hope it pays well, too because you definitely deserve some monetary compensation for bending over backwards to squeeze a little teaching into your day!
