We have been given the clear to start Grady on rice cereal and stage one solids, even though I already started Grady on rice cereal about a week ago. I have also gotten Grady to take a bottle once a day. Next week we will drop another nursing feeding and give him 2 bottles. He will take the bottle with a fight, but always ends up giving in!! If you missed my last blog entry about getting Grady to take a bottle, check it out HERE.
Of course there were those dreaded shots at the end of the visit, but Grady's smiles outweighed the crying. He's such a trooper and way less dramatic then Carter was with the shots!!
Anyone interested in his weight and height? I am also going to show Carter's height and weight so you can see the difference. Remember that Grady was almost 2 whole pounds smaller at birth then Carter.
GRADY CARTER
Weight-16lbs 5oz 17lbs 13oz
Height-24 1/4 in 25 1/2 in

Here are some other notes about our sweet Grady!
- No more size 0-3 clothes. Mainly 3-6 and some 6-9. He needs the length more than the girth!
- We have been able to use a lot of Carter's 3-6 and 6-9 since C wore 3-6 as soon as he was born!
- Size 2 diapers, but I am thinking our next Amazon order will be changed to size 3
- He LOVES his jumperoo!!
- He LOVES watching Carter, but also loves his quiet time when Carter is napping and the house is quiet!
- Grady's drooling is out of control. Carter got his first tooth at 5 months, so I wake up every am and look to see if one has appeared.
- On most days, Grady will take 2 short naps in the am, one long nap in the afternoon and a little cat nap in the late afternoon.
- Sleeping most nights from 7pm to 6:30 or 7 am
**I promise my next blog post will be beach pictures!! I hope everyone is having a great week. It's almost fall!
