I Am Free

If you read my last blog post, you would know that I was having difficulty getting Grady to take a bottle.  We tried it all.  After almost giving up, I decided to try one more time.  Someone suggested I try a bottle with a wide mouth nipple.  So, I looked in our cabinet filled with every brand of bottles and sippy cups around (I had a hard time getting Carter to take a sippy cup), and chose my weapon.  After a little persistence, Grady took the bottle and chugged 8oz of formula.  RELIEF!!  Since then, I make a point to give Grady one bottle of formula a day.  Some days are harder than others, but he usually will drink 8oz with no problems. 

Are you wondering what bottle was the winner.......Tommee Tippee!

It's so weird, because we were a Dr Brown's bottle family with Carter.  I just assumed Grady would take that one.  Again, my two boys are so different.  I wouldn't have even thought of trying Tommee Tippee bottles, but my friend Lorie had given me one in a gift basket before Grady was even born.  I don't think Tippee bottles were even around with Carter. 

I am so relieved!!!  I am free to leave the house without Grady in tow for more than 3 hours now.  I can go to my best friend's baby shower in 2 weeks knowing that Grady is home happy and full.  I can leave for the weekend to go to PITT Homecoming!  I am free!
