Please feel free to comment on any of these completely random thoughts, if you choose! I will feel better if I am not the only one feeling like this!
Random Thought #1: Why do people choose not to have kids....OR.....why do people choose to have #20 kids? I understand the whole 'don't believe in birth control' thing, but seriously? I respect both decisions, but I guess I just don't get either of them.
Random Thought #2: How can 2 siblings be so completely different? I am talking about looks, personality, temperament, etc. Already I can see such a difference in Grady and Carter. Then I think of my brother and I. Could 2 people be any more different? We come from the same mom and dad and grew up in the same house under the same rules. Why are we so different?
Random Thought #3: WHY? This is Carter's latest word. Out of the blue, when I told him to do something, he answered with "Why Mom?" It totally took me off guard because up to this point, I never had to explain myself. He just did what I asked, USUALLY! Now everything is answered back with "WHY." If I give him a simple explanation, Carter will usually take the answer and be happy with it. Sometimes he will continue with the why's, and before I know it I am answering a simple question like, "Why are we reading books before bed" with 5 different explanations. I have started learning my lesson and will ofter just answer with, "Because Mommy said so." When Carter gets that answer, he knows the "Why" game is over.
Random Thought #4: Our favorite sports teams. Every weekend Jason and I get so excited to watch The Eagles or PITT football. We plan out our game day snacks and everything. Before we know it, we are sitting on the couch watching the game saying the same darn thing to each other..."Why are we watching this game, again?" I have felt like my sports teams are a huge disappointment. Then again, I am so devoted, that I will continue watching them over and over again each weekend. I either need to start jumping on each and every bandwagon that comes my way, or just give up on sports. Reality TV always makes me feel better about my life!!!
Random Thought #5: How can one dog shed so much....Yes Lucie, I am talking about you. For a dog that cost an arm and a leg, one would think that she would come with the ability to brush herself or just not shed altogether. I LOVE our dog to death, but I am so over the dog hair. Dog hair on my pants, on my black shirts, on Carter's clothes bc he chooses to roll all over Lucie, dog hair on Grady's pacifiers, DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE!!
Final Random Thought: How do I get the completely awesome job of Matt Lauer? Boy does he have the best job ever. If you haven't been watching "Where In The World is Matt Lauer" on The Today Show you are missing out.
I don't get the "let's see how many kids we can have" either. The Duggars are crazy. I have no children, but can't see myself with more than 2. 20?! Insane. The only thing the Duggars do that I agree with, is take care of their own children. Not letting tax payers do it.
ReplyDeleteMy Lucy & Rossi are sheddars too. I thought they kept their hair in the winter? I'm tired hair balls rolling down the hallway when I open the door. And black clothes, I rarely wear them now b/c I don't want to carry a lint roller as well.
